About us

We are an indie micro press with a mission to amplify the voices of working-class writers, creating a platform for stories that challenge, inspire, and disrupt the norm.

In a world where working-class perspectives are overlooked, we take pride in nurturing the talent and creativity of those usually silenced. We aim to bring to the fore fresh, bold, and authentic narratives, with our stories and life experiences at the core.

Our focus lies within the genres of horror, sci-fi, gothic, and speculative fiction - genres that often push boundaries and explore the depths of imagination. We believe the genres offer unparalled opportunities for examining exisiting societal structures and how to change these, confronting fears, and envisioning alternative futures. Our passion is connecting with writers who share our vision and help them to refine their work so they resonate with the readers who crave something different to the status quo.

At the heart of what we believe is a commitment to providing a bespoke, personalised experience. We understand that every writer's journey and lived experiences are unique, which is why we tailor our approach to meet individual needs - whether this is editorial guidance, marketing tools and support, or open and honest, fair and transparent communication. Our hands on approach fosters collaboration and ensures that each voice is heard and respected.

We are a DIY operation, embracing the resourcefulness instilled into us from our personal lives past and present. We provide a fair and open channel of communication with our authors to provide fair pay and fair treatment for fair work. All funds generated by the press are reinvested back into our work, fueling new products and sustaining our mission to uplift working-class voices. We believe this ethos of reinvestment and community building keeps us grounded and focused on what truly matters: creating spaces for stories that deserve to be told.
