WE WANT THE THING IN YOUR THROAT THAT IS RELUCTANT TO LEAVE, LIKE IT IS PASSING THROUGH A SECOND SET OF JAWS.

We are seeking poetry and short fiction for this anthology dedicated to cosmic, folk, and religious horror.

We want ancient Gods and deicide. We want your religious trauma. We want monoliths rising in unexplored woodlands. We want visceral depictions of hell, and of those who conjure them.

Works inspired by films such as The VVitch, Suspiria, Mandy, Annihilation, The Void, The Devils Bath, Saint Maud, Midsommar, Colour Out of Space, The Ritual, The Wicker Man.

We want your raw, otherworldly, terrifying pieces of work to leave us feeling bleak and despondent. The weirder and more experimental, the better.

Submission Guidelines:

• Short Fiction: 2,000 words or less (only one submission per person please).
• Poetry/prose: Up to 3 submissions per person (only one will be selected).
• Compensation: £10 per accepted submission + contributor eBook copy.

• Restrictions: No splatterpunk. No graphic depictions of sexual assault or gratuitous violence against women, child abuse, or animal abuse. These are hard passes, and we will not accept work that has any of these themes.

• Any work that has been previously published will not be considered. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please let us know if your piece gets accepted elsewhere.

We want your nightmares, your revelations, your secret prayers and your sins. Show us what is left after the fire has burned out.
